Vinification
The grapes undergo a maceration at 30°C for 12 days, at the end of which the wine is put into large oak barrels for around 10 months; then bottled and refined in the bottle for 6/7 months.
Tasting Notes
The Chianti Colli Senesi is a gorgeous wine. Aromatic, expressive, and silky, it offers tons of Sangiovese character in a gracious, mid-weight style that will find plenty of admirers. Bright red cherry, mint and anise punctuate the finish in an enticing Chianti Colli Senesi to enjoy over the next handful of years.
