by Cella Vinaria Antiqua by Honrado Vineyards · vintage 2021
Talha was the first Brand launched by Honrado Vineyards. This one comes to represent the purest values of what a Talha Wine should be. It is, therefore, Honrado Vineyards's "Original One". Vinified in August, the wine was then kept in contact with the wine masses inside the clay pot until December, remaining in contact with the clay for a total of 4 months. Subsequently, a batch was made from several clay Talhas, before bottling. This wine is produced every year in the varieties of red and white.
Excluding shipping & duties. Ships from cellar within 48h.

"Talha” was the first brand to be launched by Honrado Vineyards, and it represents the purest values of what a Talha Wine should be. Talha Red was designed to be as faithful as it can be to the ancient production techniques and know-how, which is why this wine is our "Original One". Vinified from the grape varieties Alfrocheiro, Aragonez, Trincadeira and Alicante Bouschet during August/ September, this wine is kept in contact with the wine masses inside the clay pot until December, remaining in contact with the clay for a total of 4 months.
It shows structure and balance when in the mouth, notes of resin and clay mixed with the fruit flavors. Ends with young but round and well integrated tannins.
Talha Red goes well with pork, stews and beef.
