Great acidity, sandy soils in the first 20 cm, then a layer of very compact clay.
Vintage 2020 was dry, warm with a very hot summer. This allowed early harvest of grapes of good quality, with perfect sanitary conditions. Vinification only stainless steel. Natural aging on its lees for a few months (almost 12 months). Not clarified.
The style of our Vermentino is very different from that of the sea (Sardinia, coastal Tuscany). Ripening is slower, has much lower alcohol content, and has important acidity.
We have perhaps fewer primary fermentation aromas in our range, very long refinements in the tank, more mineral and savory sensations.
