Privileged location overlooking the Douro River, fantastic wines and the friendliness of António who welcomed us and led the tour and tasting. I recommend it.

had a great tasting with 19 year old henrique! son of the owner he had impressive knowledge of the grapes and wine making process! we especially loved the whites and rosè. definitely recommend stopping by for a tasting if you’re in the area!

I love the wine at Maçanitas. The premises are easy to reach and very close to the train station. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The tasting is very friendly and the cold cuts and cheese platter is quite extensive. Thank you for the great experience!

I went there 2 years ago, and I am just writing a recommendation to my friends visiting Portugal, so I suppose I should recommend Maçanita to the world too. In my book it was top 5 wine tasting in Portugal. They make wine, that you will remember for a long time.
