I visited Weingut Glatzer and had the pleasure of tasting the fine wines, made from their vinyards, and I was fortunate to sampe the wines while getting to know this wonderful family. I live in Northern California and know well the wines and wineries of Napa Valley. None give the authentic experience found at the Glatzer family winery. The winery is located in the postcard perfect lovely village of Göttlesbrunn, just about halfway between Vienna and Bratislatva. The red wines, especially Zweigelt and blaufränkisch , are local and regional favorites.
