Cantine Astroni, located in the Phlegraean Fields near Naples, Italy, was founded to celebrate and enhance the region’s native vines while reinterpreting local winemaking traditions with modern enological innovations. The winery rests on the slopes of the Astroni Crater, a former Bourbon hunting reserve now a State Natural Reserve managed by WWF Italy. Its volcanic soils preserve ancient grape varieties such as Falanghina and Piedirosso, allowing wines to express exceptional minerality and original aromas.
Founded by the Varchetta family over a century ago, Cantine Astroni combines tradition and innovation, producing wines that capture the “territory in a glass.” Visitors can explore vineyards, follow the winemaking process, and participate in guided tastings, educational workshops, and cultural events, experiencing local flavors and the winery’s dedication to biodiversity, heritage, and hospitality.
