On our scheduled visit, after reception, we suggest a short walking route of low difficulty, where we can stroll among the Alvarinho vines that surround the company.
With Baião's typical biodiversity, we can see huge oaks and chestnut trees along the route, there is the opportunity to do bird watching on site, where you can easily hear the Great Spotted Woodpecker, the Red-breasted Robin and the Jays.
In the last part of the visit, we enter the bottling line, where the visitor can see the different stages of the process (filling, labeling, boxing), ending in the tasting room/store.
Our tasting room, with capacity for up to 10 people, is very pleasant at different times of the year, air-conditioned and fully glazed, allowing for comfortable tasting while enjoying the Douro Verde landscape.
Upon arrival at the tasting room, you will have at your disposal 3 fresh wines to taste, along with a Hortinha board that includes olive oil, bread, crackers, and seasonal fruit.
We also have the possibility of integrating children and young people with juice tastings and some fun activities such as painting.

A Quinta das Hortas é uma referência em Baião para eventsos, com salões enormouses, serviço excellente com pessoal super motivado para servir bem.
