Incredible experiece
Paco De Calheiros is an incredible property with a long and distinguished family history. In addition to the fabulous estate, the host is extremely gracious and generous in showcasing the family's fabulous vineyards and the wine they produce. This is a memorable experience and one that has been a highlight of our trip to Portugal.

If you're looking for indepth knowledge of wine making ng this is not the tour. If you'd like to be shown around a beautiful old casa still in habited by the original family and the it's Count, stroll the grounds at your leisure and taste some of their wine while sitting under a veranda looking at the view below, this tour has your name all over it!

Fabulous!

Wonderful experience just what we were looking for, quick tour of house and grounds then some delicious wine with a plate of cheese and meats, amazing views and lovely host, even met the count himself. Made to feel very welcome and then were left to wander around at our leisure.

A bit out of the way from "life" but what a great property, manor house and outbuilding. We stayed in the annex. Our kitchen was a bit dated and minimally equipped, which also has its charms. At night you can open the windows and doors (at the risk of being bothered by some mosquitos) to let the wind blow through for a while. There is no air conditioning or fan. The breakfast is excellent: rolls, eggs, bacon, cheese and cold cuts, sweets, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea and juice. Be sure to take a walk around the property, past the vegetable garden, Japanese garden and vineyard. Be accompanied by the big, friendly dog Leon. The swimming pool is upstairs and in the annex there is a kitchen and showers with changing rooms. The indoor pool and sauna are not accessible (on request if necessary).
