The owners, Kevin and Hanli Grant, purchased Skyfield Farms, a 47-hectare property converting it into wine production. The winery is known to produce exceptional wines that show the qualities of their region and are internationally acclaimed.
Cultivating Vines on Twelve Hectares, and Planning Further Plantings in the Future
The estate of Ataraxia Wines lies in the Walker Bay wine region and has some of the most beautiful landscapes of the Western Cape. The South Atlantic Ocean is very close to the winery property, and helps create the right climate, temperature, and rainfall, so the region is suitable for growing cool-climate grapes. Currently, the estate cultivates vines on twelve hectares, and a further twelve are planned for the future. Their cultivation takes place on some of the oldest soils on Earth.
