What a great experience. Definitely try the course menu. Perhaps the best restaurant on the island.

We did a Portuguese & Spanish wine tasting. We were very well received and the setting is fabulous. We weren't thrilled with the wines we tasted, but it's all a matter of taste 😇 The white wine is quite light for a white wine lover.

I visited Pico in October of 2024 with friends and had a fantastic experience at the Azores Wine Company. In addition to the wine being unique and delicious, our tasting was led by Nick, who made the experience laid back, educational and fun. We ordered a case of wine to be shipped back to home, and though there were delays, the team at the Azores Wine Company went above and beyond to made it right and take care of us. I'm looking forward to visiting Pico again and will definitely go back to the Azores Wine Company.

My wife and I had the pleasure of a wine tour and tasting this evening. What an excellent host Nicholas was. Knowledgeable about the history and process of wine making in the Azores. We sampled some excellent wines, met some interesting people and only regretted that we were not staying or eating at the winery. The food and accommodations looked exceptional. But we will certainly be back.

A special and suffused place. The elegant structure is anchored in nature a step away from the ocean, whose view filters through wonderful windows. Three in one: wine production cellar, hospitality (5 rooms) and restaurant. A high-level gastronomic experience that evolves before our eyes, animated by a team of chefs in action on the other side of the counter. The guys are young and very good. It seems like we are witnessing a subtle and measured dance of precise and coordinated gestures. The dishes materialize almost by magic on the induction stoves and are all characterized by a very clear underlying line: delicacy. Starting from the highest quality ingredients and thanks to diplomatic and harmonious combinations, the creations of Chef Rui Batista and Sous-chef Simao Ramalho, supported by their entire team on the field, appear to the palate as real gustatory caresses imparted with great wisdom and care. From a beetroot-based invention to a tuna fillet, from a meat stew to a tapioca-enriched dessert resembling sturgeon eggs, the journey has never seemed so beautiful. Last but not least, the sensory journey already full of surprises was wet not by the rain, so common here in the Azores, but by three wines (rose', white and red) that cheered up a beautiful evening in the company of Chef Rui's very international crew. Highly recommended restaurant.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The accomodation, wine tasting and restaurant experience were all top notch. The wines themselves are unique and the team told the stories behind them beautifully. Also, the largest bed I have ever slept in. Highlight of our holiday in the Azores!

We were here for a wine tasting from the island of Pico. We heard a nice story about wine, about people, about traditions. We were satisfied. The wine is very good. The environment is inspiring. It's a beautiful place and it's nice to stop here, sit down and enjoy some beautiful white and red wine 🥂
