Write a reviewThe wine tasting was an adventure, starting with the search for the place which is not in Bandeiras directly but down at the sea (without directions on the booking website). Once there, the place was truly beautiful, at the heart of the wine production area. We had a tasting with 3 wines, white, rose and red. The cheese & salt & break experience was a small affair. The wines were very good, especially the rose. Unfortunately, we could not purchase the rose on site but were given a recommendation on where to get in in Madalena. Our promoter was a lovely Brasilian who explained the history of the area and the wine production philosophy of Azores Wine Company very well. Thank you!
We had the opportunity to taste three different Pico wines...and the winners for us were the rosé and the red from Antonio Maçanita. Our assistant, Paola, was very kind and professional. Since she told us she'd been to Italy, she'll be our welcome guest at our house! Thank you so much.😍
