Bognar Winery is nestled in the royal city of Svätý Jur, at the foothills of the Lesser Carpathian Mountains (Malé Karpaty). This region is renowned as one of Slovakia's oldest and most prestigious wine-growing areas, known for its exceptional terroir. Our vineyards thrive on the southwest slopes, where light sandy and stony granite soils contribute to the unique character of our wines. The royal Rhine Riesling from Svätý Jur is particularly celebrated among wine enthusiasts and experts alike.

Our winery is situated in the historic Piarist Monastery, where we invite visitors to enjoy a distinctive wine-tasting experience. We take pride in producing our wines from high-quality grapes cultivated in our vineyards. Utilizing modern winemaking techniques, we ensure gentle pressing, clarification, and controlled fermentation at low temperatures.
