Since its renovation in 2000, Bushmanspad Estate has expanded its vineyard to 52 hectares, focusing on blending traditional French grape varieties with the unique South African soil. Under the guidance of winemaker Aldert Nieuwoudt and proprietor Menno Schaafsma, the estate is dedicated to crafting terroir-driven wines that reflect the essence of their environment.

Bushmanspad Estate Winery produces high-quality red, white, and rosé wines, all proudly bearing W.O. (Wine of Origin) labels.

Location and views are excellent. The manager is friendly and assist in a professional manner. The bedrooms / beds are comfortable. The furniture in the sitting requires replacement and show signs of aging. The kitchen is well equipped.

What a wonderful stay, super accommodating, lovely cottages, pull out for the kids. Before we left we already wanting to plan a winter break to make sure we use the fireplace. will definitely pop in again and leave with a variety of wines.

I spent my 21st birthday weekend here with my family and it was the best decision EVER! On arrival, the cottages were clean and tidy. The view is SPECTACULAR!!!! 10/10 for view, 10/10 for beautiful clean cottages. They’re very accommodating as they gave things other places don’t, such as wood, milk and blitz, this is very impressive!!! This is the perfect place for a getaway, they have hiking trials and it’s dog friendly so your fur babies can enjoy the getaway with you 👏🏻 100 000% recommend this place !

It's so peaceful. The wine tasting area was very tiny but the lady who was conducting it was very funny that we didn't mind the space. The cottage was very cosy and very clean. The night sky is very starry and if you're looking to wine down and relax in a quiet atmosphere. The cottage had no stair cases and is very spacious which could mean it's wheelchair friendly.
