In the mid-'90s, the Retief cousins united to create something special. After completing their studies, they returned to the family farm, Van Loveren, in the Robertson Valley of the Western Cape. In 2000, they launched the Four Cousins wine range, which quickly gained popularity. Today, it stands as South Africa's best-selling bottled wine brand, affectionately known as the nation's favorite vino.
Four Cousins has established a brand home in the heart of Robertson, a must-visit spot for wine lovers. Here, you can enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere and may even spot one of the cousins during your visit.
Our restaurant offers a variety of wholesome dishes, including wood-fired pizzas, homemade burgers, juicy steaks, and fresh salads. We also serve a delightful breakfast to start your day right. At the tasting room, you can sample the complete range of Four Cousins wines, craft Boet Beer on tap, and even enjoy unique pairings like non-alcoholic tastings and Kids Grape Juice Pairings. For those looking for something different, we also offer Boet Beer Tastings and exquisite Whiskey Pairings.

Write a reviewBig open spaces, modern feel, large restaurant with seating inside and out. Separate wine tasting area. Ample shaded parking close to the entrance. Bathrooms clean and stylish. Menu offers a large variety of interesting dishes and food combinations. Food arrives within minutes of ordering and looks and tastes yummy. Prices reasonable. Overall feel of modern stylish appetizing dining. Will definitely return to try out something else on the menu.

Four Cousins Restaurant in Robertson has a nice, modern ambiance, thanks to the 2016 renovation. The interior is well-designed, offering a clean and comfortable setting. While the food was average, the overall atmosphere made it a pleasant dining experience. It’s a good place to visit if you’re in the area and looking for a relaxed spot to enjoy a meal.

Indoor and outdoor seating. It was lovely to sit outside, and there is a play area for kids. We ordered a cheese 🧀 platter, but it was more biscuits than anything else for R300+. Rather choose something else from the menu. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Very popular place for visitors

Fitted as well as you would expect any wine farm restaurant to be it's a fantastic venue. Unfortunately, the first attempt was done in such a rush only for us to send it back. The second attempt produced delicious food matching their service. The kitchen here just needs to slow down, otherwise fantastic, non complicated, steaks, burgers & pizzas!
