Cantina Ricchi, Close to Lake Garda
The Cantina Ricchi Winery was established in 1930 by Enrico Ricchi. It is situated in the Morenic Hills, near the small village of Monzambano in the province of Mantua in the Lombardy region, just a few minutes south of Lake Garda. Claudio and Gian Carlo continue to the family business now with the same passion and dedication of their grandfather and father before them.
The Winery Provides Modern Production Methods
Cantina Ricchi owns 45 hectares of vineyards where they cultivate grapes like Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Turbiana, Pinot Nero, Moscato Giallo, and Garganega. They used most recent scientific methods for their grape cultivation and wine production while maintaining a respect for nature and for the surrounding landscape. Cantina Ricchi is a modern and dynamic winery that balances the cutting-edge technology with traditional methods tied to the terrain.
Taste Excellent Wines from Lake Garda
All the wines are made exclusively using the grapes from their own vineyard. Wine production in the winery is highly organized and specialized depending on the type of wine and takes place in the vinification cellar. They also have an underground storage cellar for aging wines in wooden oak tonneaux. Their most famous wines are of the apellation DOC Garda and DOC Colli Mantovani. If you visit Cantina Ricchi, you will get to see all these processes in person and a guide will give you an explanation if you have any questions. They offer guided tastings of their wines as well in their tasting room. So, if you are planning to visit Lombardy, plan a visit to Cantina Ricchi and enjoy some delicious wines.
