An Organic Winery in the Heart of Picturesque Setting

Between the mesmerizing hills of Pozzolengo and Solferino in Lonato, Perla del Garda is a young winery located in the certified Lugana DOC region, near Lake Garda. Surrounded by vineyards, the estate delivers top-quality wines inspired by a unique gravity-flow winemaking technique. Whites are the flagship wines of Perla del Garda that expresses the essence of the terroirs from which they are produced.

Generations-Old Winemaking History from Parents to Children

In 2000, Perla del Garda was established by Giovanna and Ettore Prandini. With a great passion for wines and respect for traditional wine production methods, the siblings produced their first wine bottle in 2006. Since then, the brother and sister have evolved the winery with the latest techniques, and today delivers various versions of Lugana DOC, Lugana Superiore DOC, and Lugana Spumante DOC wines. The winery structure is double-storey – the fermentation of red and pressing of white grapes occur on the top-floor, whereas fermentation in steel tanks happens on the second floor.

Fertile Terroirs and Pedo-Climate Nourish the Vines

To the south of Lake Garda, the estate-owned vineyards cover up to 34 hectares of land, out of which four hectares are organically cultivated. A variety of white grapes are grown here, including flagship Trebbiano di Lugana, paired with Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Riesling, and Incrocio Manzoni. On the other hand, Rebo, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Sauvignon constitute the red varietals. The grapes are manually picked and moved to the cellar for soft pressing and fermentation. The siblings use large tanks and wooden barrels for aging and refining their white, red, rose, and dessert wines.
