A Historic Winery in Catalonia's Alt Penedès Region
Seven Generations of Winemaking
Cavas Naveran is a family-owned estate founded in 1984 by Michel Gilleron Parellada de Naveran. Spanning 110 hectares of terraces and woodlands in the heart of Alt Penedès, this region is renowned for its exceptional wine and cava production. The winery's roots trace back to the late 19th century when Michel’s grandfather, Pablo Parellada de Naveran, established a solid foundation for winemaking. The Naveran family is dedicated to preserving the traditional characteristics of Cava, ensuring that their heritage remains at the forefront of their winemaking practices.
The Naveran House has maintained its artisan and family character through generations.
Authentic Flavors of Penedès Cava
At Cavas Naveran, modern technology meets traditional methods. The winery is equipped to transport grapes quickly, minimizing oxidation. With 125 French and American barrels for aging, the underground cellar provides optimal humidity for aging base wines, ranging from a minimum of 12 months to 36 months. The winery produces remarkable wines, including Manuela Chardonnay Crianza, Clos Antonia Viognier Crianza, and Don Pablo Cabernet Reserve, all under the DO Penedès designation.
Commitment to Eco-Sustainability
Cavas Naveran is committed to sustainable practices, with a strict policy against herbicides and pesticides in the vineyard. They utilize organic fertilizers and employ ecological methods to ensure the health of the vines and the environment. This dedication to sustainability reflects their respect for the land and the quality of their wines.
