La Vinyeta Winery

We were a large group of coordinators from the Carlemany Forum who wanted to get to know the project first hand and spend an afternoon as a team. Excellent tour of the winery, the vineyards and the history behind this project! At the end there was a delicious km0 dinner.

It was an experience to remember. I'm passionate about ethnology and wine tasting. This place has a lot of history and love in its vineyards. In fact, in every explanation Josep gave us, we could see the excitement he and his wife have had with this place. We tasted different wines from the estate. They also have a small shop where they sell their own products. We also had a picnic and wine tasting experience, which was a good one. The only thing we could consider is improving the logistics for the picnic, considering bad weather and the comfort level to hold it, so that it doesn't ruin the excitement and satisfaction of the experience. We are also grateful for the great time we had!

A great visit, one of the most complete I've ever had at a winery. Very good explanations and a very nice story about the beginnings of the winery. A wonderful breakfast, complete, complete. Good shop and excellent products, starting with the wine. 🍷😍💪🏽

We randomly selected Celler La Vinyeta (based on what we saw on their website and the experiences they offered) to do our first tasting in l'Empordà and I have to say that we were super happy and satisfied with the result. We started with a breakfast with local products with enough time to enjoy both the food and chat with our friends. Then we took a walk through the vineyards where they not only explained the history of the beginning of the winery but also all the sustainability and expansion projects they have incorporated, turning La Vinyeta into something more than just a place of wine production. The visit to the winery was the least extensive (which in our case, as we have visited many wineries before, was enough for us). And, finally, the tasting of 4 wines, one of the cheeses and a liquor (also produced by the winery) explained in great detail (process and type of grape used, label design, the reason for the name...). Marta, one of the founders of La Vinyeta along with Josep, was our guide and we loved her accompaniment to discover a Celler that we will definitely visit again.

This small winery/farm owned by a young couple is a must-see. They are very friendly and make you feel at home if you stay for lunch. Everything is delicious, homemade and accompanied by organic wine. It is 10/12 km from Figueras, it is worth it!

We went to La Vinyeta to do the breakfast + vineyard tour + wine tasting package. We were lucky enough to visit Josep, the owner, and you can see the passion he has for his business in the way he tells the story, with a touch of humor and in a very pleasant way. The breakfast was very complete, with cold cuts, cheeses made by them, toast, their olive oil and their wine. They also provide water and coffees. During the tasting we tried 4 wines, cheeses and an herbal liqueur. Without a doubt a great experience!

Great tour and tasting by Micah (?). She was very knowledgeable about the wines, the vineyard and region. We also the enjoyed the picnic lunch in the olive grove. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for a great visit!

Sensational. We went to spend the night, with music next to the vineyards, dinner, breakfast also with views of the vineyards, a visit and wine tasting. The accommodation was 10/10, the service was 10/10. No complaints and an experience we would like to repeat at another time of the year. Lying on a lounger at night with a glass of wine looking at the stars is priceless.

A very interesting and enjoyable visit to the vineyards, surrounded by a beautiful landscape, followed by a visit to the winery. It concludes with a tasting of very good wines. It was a gift that we liked and enjoyed very much. We would like to highlight the kindness and friendliness of the person who conducted and accompanied us on the guided tour. Thank you very much!

Spent a truly enjoyable day here having booked a tour and tasting. Enjoyed the gorgeous weather and scenery. Our host (I think her name was Katherina but can’t be sure as this review was made much later at the end of our vacation) was superb too. Tasting the wines out by the vines was nice. Every wine came with an interesting story and we all bought more to bring home. Their locally produced olive oil is also superb to take away. Highly recommended winery to support and visit.

Great experience with tour and tasting. Also took advantage of the opportunity of an aperitif with cutting board and tasting of their oil accompanied by glasses of wine. All with a view of the vineyards. Top!

Superb wines I can't wait to visit the cellar

Highly recommend! We took the tour + the picnic and thoroughly enjoyed both. Our guide was knowledgeable and truly enthusiastic about the winery, the wines we tasted were amazing and the food provided at the picnic was top quality and plentiful. Would likely come again if I’m in the region.

We had an amazing time at the winery. Josep is so passionate about the land and was an amazing host and tour guide. The food they made was so delicious and fresh tasting, especially the cheese and olive oil from their vineyard. Highly recommend this place.

Celler La Vinyeta seems to offer some exceptional culinary delights. Unfortunately, the soft cheese "Cornut" was too special for my taste.

Excellent welcome, a real approach to ecological and educational quality, magnificent products.

The wines are excellent, especially the Reus and the Puntiappart. A visit to the estate is also worth doing.

We spent the weekend at DO Empordà, and this was the best experience we have attended. Lovely place, great food and wines, and amazing care from Josep and Marta. So much willing to be back!
