Balloon Flight and Wine Tasting at Celler Lagravera
Discover the high quality wines crafted from ancestral vineyards as you delight in the panoramic views of the vineyards and surrounding landscapes
Celler Lagravera makes wines as naturally as possible in ancestral vineyards without any technical advances
Scientists who are farmers by vocation; somehow this works best for the winery as the marriage between the two results in fine winemaking and exquisite wines. Putting two and two together, the team at Celler Lagravera do not fancy use of any technical advances and rather that their wines maintain that high quality being as natural as possible.
For any great wine, the terroirs it comes from and the soil from which it takes is very crucial. At Cellar Lagravera, the ancestral vineyards where their vines grow contribute to the vines. The clay and gypsum soils and the mountain range protecting the land definitely do their part. Red grenache, White grenache, Cabernet sauvignon, Monastrell, Marselan, Malbec, Sumoll, Trobat negre, Trobat blanc, Heben, Picapoll de la Noguera, Macabeu, Pansa de la Noguera, and other almost extinguished ancestral varietals grow here in peace.
Wines from Cellar Lagravera have their own personality. They are rich, and have highly complex nuances. These biodynamic wines carry with them largely a reflection of their lands.
