Dedication and Passion at Conte Vistarino Winery
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Earl Carlo Giorgi di Vistarino introduced Pinot Noir vines from Bourgogne to the estate. Today, Ottavia Giorgi di Vistarino, the current owner, continues this legacy with a commitment to producing high-quality red, white, rosé, dessert, and sparkling wines. The family cultivates grapes across 180 hectares, with 140 hectares dedicated to Pinot Noir, all under the official Albo Della DOC Oltrepò Pavese designation. In addition to Pinot Noir, the estate grows a variety of other grapes, including Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, and Sangue di Giuda. The winery also maintains 200 hectares of woodland and 120 hectares of arable land for fruits and vegetables.
Visit the Stunning Gardens of the Villa
Conte Vistarino Winery features the beautifully preserved 18th-century Villa Fornace, surrounded by enchanting gardens. The villa's interior reflects the rich history of the region and the winemaking family. Visitors can enjoy a gaming room and a dedicated wine tasting room, making it a perfect spot for wine enthusiasts to learn more about the estate's offerings.
