While strolling through the vineyards, we passed the winery and received a warm welcome from Maxence. He offered us a tour of the wine cellar, which was very interesting and informative, followed by a wine tasting. A heartfelt welcome, a cozy and well-maintained estate. A wonderful discovery!

A truly wonderful discovery in the heart of the Versailles plain: the La Bouche du Roi winery in Davron. The vineyard tour was fascinating and expertly led, connecting the history of Île-de-France winemaking with modern winemaking techniques and a genuine passion for the terroir. You can feel the deep commitment to reviving an almost forgotten winemaking tradition in Île-de-France – with an identity that is elegant, contemporary, and yet deeply rooted in the heritage of Versailles. The winery itself is superb: expansive plots with magnificent views, a modern cellar that combines stainless steel tanks, barrels, and amphorae, all within an authentic yet refined atmosphere. The tasting was also an excellent surprise: honest, balanced, and distinctive wines. The Pinot Noir "Abondance" deserves special mention; I particularly enjoyed its peppery note, which lingers on the palate. A cultural and wine experience that I can warmly recommend to all lovers of tradition, French terroir, and wonderful local discoveries. On April 25th, my wife and I visited the vineyard. It was an interesting experience, complete with a thorough explanation, and concluded with a tasting of their excellent wines. Congratulations!

I was incredibly lucky to visit the winery with my parents and husband. It was an amazing walk among the vines, during which they explained the history of the place, the composition of the soil, and the key steps they take to produce high-quality organic products. Afterward, we visited the fermentation tanks and the tasting – my personal highlight! There, we sampled various wines paired with a cheese platter and other delicious regional products in a lively and dynamic atmosphere. We shared this experience with people from different countries, tried to identify the grape varieties, and thoroughly enjoyed the products. Our guide was very friendly and attentive, making the tour a fantastic experience. The wine packaging was simply extraordinary! Some wines are presented in pairs in beautiful boxes that open like a gate in the middle and are adorned with gold details reminiscent of the splendor of the Palace of Versailles and its king. If you are traveling to Paris or Versailles, I highly recommend this visit!

Never went to the site but had the Pinot Noir at a wine bar in Camden, South Carolina. Thanks for the best Pinot Noir I’ve had in years! Merci.

Even though it's a very young vinery it worth a visit. A very nice place with a pleasent service. Nice tour trough the vineyards and an interesting tast of young white and red wines. I like the Pino Nuar and the Chardone.

Stunning vineyard & spectacular wines. They are on the cutting edge of biodiversity. The fact it’s close to Versailles (hence close to Paris) is a wonderful reason to visit on your Parisian holiday. Highly recommend.

The tour and tasting were led by Adrien, the owner, a true enthusiast who embarked on this incredible adventure. It's a return to the roots, and a bold one at that. A wonderful discovery yesterday afternoon after a bike ride. A beautiful, suspended moment, a little out of time, just a stone's throw from home. A stroll through the vineyards of the estate, a visit to the production site, bottling, winemaking, etc. And of course, a tasting – four grape varieties. Highly recommended.
