Keermont Vineyards

Keermont Vineyards is a boutique family-owned wine estate, nestled in a natural amphitheatre between the Helderberg and Stellenbosch Mountains. The Upper Blaauwklippen Valley is in Paradyskloof (Paradise Valley), just outside of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
All our wines are grown, produced and bottled on the farm. 29 hectares (70 acres) under vine with 13 different cultivars planted, and over 100 hectares (250 acres) dedicated to protecting the pristine fynbos (indigenous flora) on the property. Alex Starey, winemaker and viticulturist, and his small team follow a natural and traditional winemaking philosophy which means 100% natural fermentation, no adjustments to acidity or alcohol, bottled with little or no filtration.
Keermont produces 50– 60,000 bottles annually and has gained acclaim for its site-driven, expressive wines. “Keermont is about a place. This is why we emphasise ‘grown, produced, and bottled @ Keermont”, all our wines are made from grapes grown on the farm, high up on the slopes of the surrounding mountains.
