Emeran Reya Winery: A Legacy of Quality in Kozana

Located in the picturesque Kozana region of Slovenia, Emeran Reya Winery is a proud third-generation family business dedicated to crafting wines that reflect their unique terroir. Established in 1930 by Edward Reya, the winery has evolved through the years, with each generation contributing to its rich heritage. Edward's son, Emeran, modernized the winery with new equipment and a state-of-the-art cellar. Following Edward's passing in 2006, his son has continued this legacy, focusing on organic and sustainable practices. In 2019, the winery achieved organic certification, ensuring that all production methods prioritize environmental health.

Vineyard and Grape Varieties

Spanning 10 hectares of lush hills, the Emeran Reya vineyards are home to a diverse array of fruits, including peaches, figs, and plums. The region's marl soil is rich in moisture and nutrients, while the sunny climate and proximity to the sea create ideal conditions for grape cultivation. Key grape varieties include Rebula, Malvazija, Sivi Pinot, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon, among others.
