Hiša Vina Gjerkeš specializes in producing exceptional wines from varietals such as Chardonnay, Sivi Pinot, Renski Riesling, Laski Riesling, and Rumeni Muscat. Their wines consistently perform well in local competitions organized by the winegrower association of Slovenia and have also garnered accolades in prestigious international contests, including Vino Slovenija Gornja Radgona, Decanter London, and Chardonnay du Monde.
The process of creating their remarkable wines begins with meticulous grape selection. In 2011, the winery expanded by constructing a modern cellar to support its growth. Each grape is carefully fermented according to its varietal using native yeasts, followed by aging in oak barrels to enhance flavor complexity. This commitment to quality ensures that only the finest grapes contribute to their celebrated wines.

An absolutely wonderful experience! The 7-course menu was a masterpiece, with an impeccable flow, perfect timing, and the most flavorful, delicious dishes. The wine pairing elevated the degustation to an entirely new level. The service was exceptional, and as a delightful bonus, the venue is dog-friendly—an all-around fantastic dining experience!

A very nice estate with fantastic food (the dishes are really innovative and always surprising) and a top notch young staff, the rooms are clean, well furnished and have everything one needs to relax, a special praise goes to Matic who is very helpful and takes the time to welcome guests and is also ready to chat with them informally, we will definitely recommend this place to our friends, family and colleagues, a special mention also goes to the breakfast which is fantastic and served with special "sweets".
