Experience the Passion of Four Wine Enthusiasts in Lombardy
Le Strie Winery – Exceptional Nebbiolo
Le Strie is a family-owned winery located in Teglio, within the renowned Valtellina wine region of Lombardy, Italy. This area is celebrated for producing outstanding wines crafted exclusively from the finest Nebbiolo grapes. The winery is managed by four dedicated individuals: Luciana, Marisa, Paolo, and Stefano, who share a deep passion for winemaking.
Exclusive Wine Production
With just one hectare of land, Le Strie focuses on cultivating Nebbiolo grapes, the hallmark of this region. They also grow rare heirloom varieties such as Rossola, Pignola, and Brugnola. The vineyard yields approximately 60 quintals of grapes per hectare, ensuring that each bottle reflects exceptional quality. Le Strie produces three distinct wines using traditional methods. Their Valtellina Superiore DOCG and Sforzato DOCG wines are crushed, destemmed, and fermented in stainless steel vats before maturing in large oak barrels. Additionally, the Terrazze Retiche di Sondrio IGT is fermented and aged in stainless steel, showcasing the unique terroir of the region. On average, Le Strie produces around 7,500 bottles per year, highlighting their commitment to quality over quantity.
