A Family-Operated Gem

Spanning 8 hectares across 6 distinct locations, Lepa Vida Winery cultivates 32,000 vines, all tended to by hand. The winery benefits from a unique blend of soil, sunlight, and climate, allowing them to produce a variety of wines, including Zelen, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Malvasia Istriana, and Chardonnay. With an annual production of up to 30,000 bottles, they offer a selection of 10 different wines.

Simply perfect experience. Irena, the owner, is kind and knowledgeable. The history of the winery is interesting, while the wines are truly surprising. The tasting room overlooking the vineyards is very beautiful. An oasis of peace just beyond the border with Italy. Absolutely worth a try!

Fantastic experience. The place is spectacular, a huge glass window lets you see the entire vineyard and with the evening experience you can see a beautiful sky at sunset. Ireni was extremely kind, she explained all the wines they drank and told us many beautiful stories about them and their activity. Very good wines and 8 tastings! Extremely honest price! Definitely recommended!

Such a great tasting experience in a small boutique vineyard. Irena, the owner, takes the time and shares the story behind the wines. You are not being rushed and you can savour each of the wines with the excellent homemade sharing platter pairing.

This is the second time I've been here and that shows that I'm completely satisfied. Very friendly owners and a very interesting wine tasting, with interesting facts about the Vipra Valley and its residents, and of course about winemaking. It's always an experience to be here and I'd love to come back.

We had a wonderful wine tasting with great culinary accompaniment, vegan food was taken into account in a very loving and creative way and we had a tasty experience! The history of the winery as well as the names and backgrounds of the wines are lovingly explained. Highly recommended! There is also the option of staying with a camper for €10 a night.

Wonderful experience trying Slovenian wine for the first time. Vilma is very passionate and pedagogical with her explanations. Finally, their wine is just excellent! If you want to do a wine tasting in Goriska Brda, this is the place to go!
