Beautiful surroundings, amazing wine and Irena is a great teller of the story behind the winery. I definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Such a great tasting experience in a small boutique vineyard. Irena, the owner, takes the time and shares the story behind the wines. You are not being rushed and you can savour each of the wines with the excellent homemade sharing platter pairing.

This is the second time I've been here and that shows that I'm completely satisfied. Very friendly owners and a very interesting wine tasting, with interesting facts about the Vipra Valley and its residents, and of course about winemaking. It's always an experience to be here and I'd love to come back.

We had a wonderful wine tasting with great culinary accompaniment, vegan food was taken into account in a very loving and creative way and we had a tasty experience! The history of the winery as well as the names and backgrounds of the wines are lovingly explained. Highly recommended! There is also the option of staying with a camper for €10 a night.

Wonderful experience trying Slovenian wine for the first time. Vilma is very passionate and pedagogical with her explanations. Finally, their wine is just excellent! If you want to do a wine tasting in Goriska Brda, this is the place to go!

A must visit if you are in the Vipava valley. My husband and I have done wine tastings all over Europe and this small producer in Slovenia really surprised us. The owner Irena gave us a rundown of not only the grapes and climate of the valley, but also went into some history regarding wine making in Slovenia and the history of the winery. The snacks served were all local and and served as a light lunch for us. You get to try all the wines they produce (I believe it was 9 in total). All the wines were amazing quality and very different. I particularly like the zelen and a skin contact wine made from 100% malvazija. The only negative I can think of is that they don’t ship to every state in the US. We were sad we couldn’t ship several cases back to our home state.

You really have to pull yourself together not to give in to your emotions... we 'rented' a room for one night as RV guests from this winery and spontaneously booked the wine tasting... Approx. 115 minutes full of stories about the family, the country, their own vineyards and the wines on offer. Emotional, educational and valuable. The wines are ultimately always a matter of taste - but I think there is something for every taste. We couldn't leave without it... the tasting included specialties from the region and an incredibly authentic (air-conditioned) environment... And on top of all the crazy coincidences, the 'potter' or 'potter' of the plates and bowls was a guest... The history of the family and that of Slovenia is impressively flanked by the wine tasting. We are so impressed, so blown away, so enraptured and excited that we want to become regular customers...!

We were warmly welcomed by Irena, the pitch for €10 was ideal for one night. A toilet without showers, electricity (on request) and fresh water were available. The wine tasting was our highlight. The pitches were beautifully and warmly laid out. The regional/homemade snacks were very good and we enjoyed a cozy evening with the excellent wines and regional information from Irena - a wonderful start to the holiday.

A wonderful place! The wine tasting was absolutely amazing! Eight wines and such delicious and lovingly prepared snacks to go with them. Simply amazing. Even vegan! Thank you very much for that! With a lot of love and passion you are told a lot about the region, Slovenia and the wines. Great atmosphere. We will definitely be back! And the best thing is that you can stay there overnight for €10 afterwards. Very quiet, beautiful place! Thank you very much!

Great experience! The wines are tasty, the accompaniments delicious, all in a magnificent setting with adapted explanations on the wines, the region and the history of the country! It costs €25 for about 2 hours with 8 wines tasted, which is very reasonable

Indeed, if all the reviews are 5, there is a reason for that. Nice winery, good wines and simple appetizers to enjoy a very varied tasting, well explained and at very reasonable prices. Good representation of Slovenian wines, local grapes and other more international ones, almost all white except for a red and an orange, a curious proposal. €25 per person for the tasting and wines from €8 to €14

Excellent tasting: The wines (mainly white) are all very different and the explanations are interesting. The food that accompanies the wines is local and very good (especially the charcuterie). The place is magnificent with a large bay window. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience. The place is spectacular, a huge glass window lets you see the entire vineyard and with the evening experience you can see a beautiful sky at sunset. Ireni was extremely kind, she explained all the wines they drank and told us many beautiful stories about them and their activity. Very good wines and 8 tastings! Extremely honest price! Definitely recommended!

Simply perfect experience. Irena, the owner, is kind and knowledgeable. The history of the winery is interesting, while the wines are truly surprising. The tasting room overlooking the vineyards is very beautiful. An oasis of peace just beyond the border with Italy. Absolutely worth a try!

Absolutely incredible experience. Although French, we discovered with great pleasure the Slovenian wines of the Lepa Vida estate thanks to the excellent company of Irena. She perfectly described the 9 wines tasted (rose, white and red), sharing with us the family history and love of this wine estate. The building is also particularly pleasant and the local food absolutely delicious. It was without a doubt one of the best experiences of our trip to Slovenia, thank you again.

This place deserves a full 5 stars. The vineyard is full of history, making you appreciate it that much more. Our host, Irena, was wonderful and explained in enough detail about the wines we tasted (like 7 in total). The tasting room is in a modern building overlooking their own vineyard. The tasting, costing 20 EUR, comes also with a big plate of meat, cheese and breads. The plate was delicious, as were the wines. I cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely come back in warmer months.

Simply wonderful. The owner was very kind and welcoming. We did a tasting of 8 wines, each wine had its own story, very interesting. The wine was accompanied by a cutting board with their products or purchased at km zero. A beautiful experience. Surely if we were in those parts we will return.

The experience at Lepa Vida was one of the best of the holiday in Slovenia. Irena, the owner who led the tasting, is kind, professional and affable. Her words convey all the passion that she and her husband put into the care of this place and their wine. Needless to say, the quality of the wines is excellent, as is that of the food that accompanies them, at an almost ridiculous price. The location is a magnificent setting for this experience.
