Palagetto Winery

We received a friendly welcome and opted for the cheapest tasting at €20 per person. We had to wait a little while, but the staff apologized several times. We tasted a total of four wines, accompanied by some cheese, bread, and spread. Everything was explained. The only thing that really bothered me was having to pay for the wine tasting even after making a purchase (over €200!). At that price, one could perhaps overlook the limited samples and the "small platter." I just find it unnecessary.

We went to a wine tasting. The lady was very kind and professional. She told us about each wine, which allowed us to delve deeper into the topic of Tuscan wines. Definitely worth a visit, with very reasonable prices.

We had a wine tasting with a light brunch that included bruschetta, cheeses, salami, and ham. We loved it! The wines were delicious, the olive oil was incredible 💚, and Chiara's service was outstanding; she even spoke Spanish. She was fantastic!!

We had the Tosca tasting light lunch at the Palagetto company, Fiamma welcomed us, a very sweet and knowledgeable girl, ready to answer our questions, she followed us throughout the tasting process where, together with the excellent wine, there was an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses and a first course of excellent quality, not to mention the cantucci made by them accompanied by vin santo. Located next to the town of San Gimignano, it's a good option if you want to visit the town. We opted for the tasting of four wines and a charcuterie board for €25 per person. Everything was excellent. Chiara served us and explained each wine to us; she was very friendly.

We did a tasting of four wines (two white and two red), accompanied by a selection of local cured meats and cheeses. Chiara, our sommelier, was lovely, although we perhaps missed an introduction about the winery, etc., but the wine selection was excellent and we were very comfortable.

Neat place off the beaten path. Their wine is not as good as most places in the area, but strangely their rosé is the one that really stood out. When our server was with was us, she was very knowledgeable and friendly. However, the only sure way to get service at some points is to wander around to find the group of servers hanging out chatting since they forgot about you. I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm talking about waiting 20+ minutes just to close out and buy wine. I wouldn't put this place #1 on my list with so many other great wineries in the area and with the subpar service, but it's worth a stop if you make a reservation and catch staff on a good day probably. While the wine didn't blow me away, the prices are pretty good. So if you're looking to buy some drinkable wine at a decent price, you could do worse.

The Light Lunch was a fantastic experience, with excellent service. You sample several white and red wines while enjoying a charcuterie and cheese board, followed by a pasta dish. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous enough to call it a proper lunch. The tasting is available in Spanish. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely try some of the other options when I return.

A wonderful wine tasting experience during a meal, surrounded by barrels… Serena's explanations in French were clear and interesting. She was very knowledgeable and courteous!

We made a reservation for a wine tasting + lunch. The service and lunch were good and the wines were delicious. The setting inside between all the wine barrels was amazing. I've found my new favorite white wine. The owner is just 28 but made this awesome wine called : Arianna Ventanni.

Excellent winery near San Gimignano. I stumbled upon it by chance, staying nearby. I contacted them by phone because I have a dog in tow, and they welcomed me warmly. The tasting of four red wines was very good, accompanied by some cured meats, cheeses, and other local delicacies. They were also very kind to Momo, my dog. A very quiet and peaceful place; despite the slightly cloudy day, the atmosphere was truly tranquil. Highly recommended.

It's a beautiful vineyard in Tuscany. We did a wine tasting and I loved them ALL. We left with five bottles to take home. The tasting was accompanied by their olive oil and honey, which were excellent in flavor and quality. I also took some home with me. I would definitely go back when I return to Tuscany.

We had an excellent time at this winery! The staff were very friendly and hospitable and ensured our visit was perfect. The wine was delicious and the tour explaining the history of the winery and the production of the wine was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this for visitors in Tuscany!

A real insider tip for all lovers of good wine and good food. Plenty of time is taken during the wine tasting. The price-performance ratio is excellent, and the vineyards surrounding the property are well worth a visit. We'll be back.
