The Winery has a Beautiful Story to Share
Found in the year 1999, the Bournazeau FLorena Family bought land that would be the start of a wonderful journey. Between the villages of Capmany and Sant Climent Sescebest in a leafy, green wooded area protected from the Tramontane by the Albere range, Terra Remota is no less than heaven when it comes to its location. The area was occupied from antiquity by the ancient Iberian communities, highlighting the longevity of human lands with the land. Terra Remota used in their logo two symbols that pay a tribute to the former occupants.
The Power of Three
At Terra Remota, three concepts are mainly kept in mind: quality, respect for raw materials and identity. The winery has also been sensitive to the lands it comes from. Quality is a priority and there is minimum intervention of the hands in the procedure. The preparation of each wine is taken as a unique path.
Viticulture at Terra Remota
The vineyards are spread across 54 hectares. The terroirs received an average annual rainfall of 600 mm per m2. The procedures here are carried out under the ecological production label that was obtained in the year 2012. Harvest is done by hand here.
