VDP.Weingut Knebel - A Legacy of Quality Wines

One of the very top Weingut in Winningen and certainly a member of the top rank in all of the Mosel. Incisive and delicious. And Matthias makes sure to do an excellent presentation.

Lovely tasting of excellent Rieslings! We also made a small car ride through the beautiful vineyards and got the possibility to taste an incredible Trockenbeerenauslese

Gagged takes on a new meaning after tasting the winery's delicacies. The owner's friendly approach to inconspicuous customers is worth mentioning, but even the grumpiest winemaker could sell these wines.

The wine tasting at Matthias Knebel's in Winningen was a very tasty tasting of his wines, which are a lot of fun across the board, from sweet to dry wines! It makes sense to buy a few more bottles from him, as they sell out quickly. Great!

We received an excellent welcome at the Knebel house. Although we came by very spontaneously, the hosts took a lot of time for us. In addition to the hospitality, the wines on offer are, in my opinion, some of the best on the Mosel. I can only warmly recommend a visit.

Despite us showing up without calling ahead, we were kindly received and got a thorough tasting of the wines available for purchase. Absolutely superb wines and a very friendly hostess!

The Knebel family welcomed us warmly and showed us their best wines. We had top service and a great afternoon, better than we could have imagined. We were treated to some really great wines, including a wine tour in the cellar, and Mama Knebel served us great snacks. We ended up in the best hands and couldn't have imagined a better afternoon. Hospitality like you can only have in your heart. Thank you so much! A thousand percent recommendation.

This winery is among the best along Mosel. Their wines doesn’t have the unripe steely overminerally taste, also the ”trocken” wines are excellent.

Even with the filtration of the 2019 vintage and when traveling as a lone fighter, the boss takes time for an exchange and insights into his philosophy of viticulture. Very delicate wines, in contrast to the many lush Moselle wines in the area. We put our heart and soul into it and also had time to show the children the cellar.
