Vinyes Del Terrer, a Family-Run Winery Located in Vila-Seca
The Vinyes Del Terrer is a family-run winery located in Vila-Seca, next to Tarragona in Spain, on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. In 1989, the family started to recover the 7-hectare wine estate, and since 2003, they are producing terroir-driven wines with the idea of reflecting the unique Mediterranean terroir they possess. There is a considerable influence of the sea, which is only 2 km away from the wine estate. The wines are consistent and elegant hailing from unique calcaric soil called lumaquela. This soil type helps make wines with intense freshness, fruit-forward flavor, and a deep mineral-rich palate. Vinyes Del Terrer’s main aim is to oversee the even ripening of their vineyards and use the fruit from them to produce famous, exquisite wines.

No Chemicals and Fertilizers in the Vineyards of Vinyes Del Terrer
The estate is comprised of nine different vineyards which are just 20 meters above sea level. There are a lot of sunny days paired with irregular rainfall in August and September that provide ideal conditions for the growth and cultivation of vines. Vinyes Del Terrer Winery uses sustainable methods to protect their natural environment and the health of their vines. There is no use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides on their farms. The main types of grapes grown are Grenache, Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The workers handpick the best grapes and use them to make high-quality red, white, dessert, and fortified wines. We are road to state that we are certified by the CCPAE, an official ecological certificate in Spain.
