Since 1989, the family has been revitalizing their 7-hectare estate, focusing on terroir-driven wines that reflect the unique Mediterranean environment. The winery benefits from the region's calcaric soil, known as lumaquela, which imparts a vibrant freshness, fruit-forward flavors, and a mineral-rich palate to their wines. The primary goal at Vinyes Del Terrer is to ensure the even ripening of their grapes, which are used to craft exquisite wines.
The estate features nine vineyards situated just 20 meters above sea level.
With nine vineyards positioned at a low elevation, Vinyes Del Terrer enjoys abundant sunshine and irregular rainfall during the growing season, creating ideal conditions for vine cultivation. The winery is committed to sustainable practices, avoiding chemical fertilizers and pesticides to protect the environment and the health of their vines. The main grape varieties cultivated include Grenache, Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The dedicated team handpicks the finest grapes to produce high-quality red, white, dessert, and fortified wines. Vinyes Del Terrer proudly holds the CCPAE certification, an official ecological certification in Spain.
Combining traditional winemaking values with modern techniques, Vinyes Del Terrer produces approximately 60,000 bottles of wine each year. Their wines are well-received both locally and internationally, showcasing the rich flavors and character of Catalonia's unique terroir.

We had a wonderful tour and wine tasting with Eduard at Vinyes del Terrer vineyard. Delicious wines, especially the Nus, and a really informed explanation of how the proximity to the sea helps develop the unique wines made here. We are a family of four and would strongly recommend others booking a wine tasting tour here. We bought some of the Nus red and white wines which we look forward to enjoying over the next few years. TIP - book ahead to enjoy this beautiful spot. We dropped into the vineyard without a reservation (please do book ahead), but Max was very accommodating and extremely welcoming. He very kindly interrupted his day to give us a tour/talk followed by the wine tasting. He is a credit to this family owned vineyard and he’s very knowledgeable having worked in the wine regions of Chile (his home country); California; New Zealand; Germany and now Salou. Myself and my friend really enjoyed our visit and would have loved to have caught up with Max at the Virgin Wines tasting event in London this weekend, but alas the tickets were all sold out! We hope Max did well promoting the wines (which were all lovely!)

Beautiful vineyard, beautiful people! We had a great time with the owner showing us around and explaining us the process. Every wine we tasted was better than the other. We will be back here for sure!
