Weingut Gorges-Müller is a family-owned winery nestled in the picturesque Moselle Valley. Formed in the 1990s through the merger of the Müller-Polf winery in Burgen and the Gorges-Reef winery in Wintrich, Gorges-Müller has since relocated to a historic castle. Significant investments have been made to modernize the estate while preserving its traditional charm. The winery combines time-honored techniques with state-of-the-art technology to craft exceptional wines. Martin, the owner's son, completed his viticulture studies in 2018 and is poised to lead the winery into the future. Guests can enjoy a stay in the beautifully restored 19th-century guesthouse, which offers modern amenities and comfortable accommodations. The vineyards of Gorges-Müller are located in Burgen, Wintrich, and Veldenz, thriving on the steep, sun-drenched slopes of the Moselle River. The winery practices ecological and organic viticulture, ensuring the preservation of the natural environment and the health of the vines. Only environmentally friendly methods are employed in the vineyard. The primary grape varieties cultivated include Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, and Müller-Thurgau.
