The estate of Preis is a family-run winery nestled in the heart of Hochheim. It is a classic wine estate where three generations of winemakers live and work together in harmony with nature. This allows the winery to enjoy traditional and modern wine culture. The estate-owned ten hectares are cultivated mainly with Rieslings. Besides, some hectares are dedicated to Spätburgunder, Silvaner, Dornfelder, and Portugieser.

Weingut Preis is Running in its Fifth Generation

Thomas Preis owns the winery with experience and commitment towards winemaking for over 40 years. He is supported by his wife and children, who handle different sections of the winery. The wife, Birgit Preis, manages the bar. Janine Price & Cathrin Preis operates the marketing and sales department, while Thomas’s son, Vincent Price, works in the vineyards and the cellar. Most of the company-owned vineyards are situated in three locations of Hochheimer, namely Hölle, Berg, and Stein.

The vaulted cellars are perfect for organizing private and corporate events. People worldwide visit the winery and celebrate their birthdays, weddings, and business meetings, magnified by the winery wine-food pairing. The rustic, historic cellar is well-equipped with round tables and chairs, decorated with flowers and candles. Your event will be enhanced by multiple home-style kitchen cuisine.
