The story of Zelna began in 2014, with a few hectares of vineyards and a definite idea in Balatonfüred.

The first strong impulses were given by the small, family vineyards – so much so that a few harvests later I became a viticulturist and winemaker. When Lilla and I moved to Balatonfüred, we were already thinking on a larger scale. The goal was to create an organic system, of which viticulture is an important, but not the only, part. A close-to-nature approach is part of our everyday lives, and we also chose areas in isolated vineyards close to forests.

Over the past few years, the estate has continuously developed, and today we farm on 18 hectares on the border of Balatonfüred, Balatonszőlős and Tihany.
