Vinum Novum Palhete - Honrado Vineyards

Launched every year on Saint Martin's Day (11th of November), this brand was created to respond to the huge demand for the New Wine at this time of the year. Made from grapes harvested in August and bottled in November of the same year, ""Vinum Novum"" is a wine with only 3 months of contact with the wine masses, which results into a Talha Wine that reveals itself with a young and aromatic character, and a lot of notes of fresh fruits. The bottling process is done manually, without using filters and adding a very small amounts of sulphites, it is recommended to be drunk within a 2 years period after bottling. This wine is produced every year in the varieties of red, white and palhete.

Produced from the grape varieties Antão Vaz, Arinto, Viosinho and Trincadeira harvested in August and bottled on November 11th of the same year, "Vinum Novum Palhete" is a wine with only 3 months of contact with the wine masses. The fact that the grapes are picked up earlier in the month of August and the wine spends less time in contact with the wine masses, makes this Talha Wine acquire a young and aromatic character with many notes of fresh fruits. This wine is bottled manually, without using any filters and only a very small amount of sulphites are added to it, therefore it is recommended to be drunk within a period of 2 years after bottling.

Soft, balanced, with an excellent freshness. Fine and smooth tannins.

Vinum Novum Palhete goes well with salads, seafood and fish dishes.
