Visiting Terre des Templiers offers a memorable experience for wine lovers. You will gain insights into the unique qualities of Banyuls and Collioure wines, including the intriguing reason why Banyuls wines are aged in red-painted vats and the historical influence of the Templar Knights on winemaking.

Choose from two engaging options:

  • The standard visit includes a 15-minute presentation about the vineyard, an overview of the Banyuls winery, a model room that explains the winemaking process, and concludes in the tasting room.
  • The “Food & Wine Pairing” tour follows the same itinerary but ends with a delightful pairing of Banyuls wine with chocolate or ice cream.

During your visit, you will sample between 3 and 6 wines from the prestigious appellations of Collioure, Banyuls, and Banyuls Grand Cru. Taste a variety of grapes, including Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Carignan, each showcasing the region's rich terroir.

A cellar to discover! We were able to attend a guided tour after a short presentation film. The guide (who brings a lot compared to a free visit) was very professional and friendly. We were treated to a generous tasting afterwards. The wines are of quality, how can you leave without a few samples? To do if you are in the area and want to discover local and original products

A visit with a lot of curiosity about wine, the guided tour by Michel, friendly and a very good communicator, the Bayuls wine was excellent.

Very interesting visit, we learned a lot about wine. Our guide was passionate, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I discovered some super interesting wines. It is a great activity to do to discover the region from another perspective.

Fantastic experience. We did the tour followed by a wine tasting. Everything was very well organized and extremely entertaining. Very friendly advice and fair prices. Definitely worth a visit.
