Experience different guided wine tastings with food or chocolate pairings at Terre des Templiers

Visiting Terre des Templiers is a unique experience. You will learn about the characteristics of Banyuls and Collioure wines. Find out why Banyul wines are aged in vats painted red, and how the Templar Knights influenced winemaking.

Two options are available:

  • The standard visit including : 15 min projection about the vineyard, an overview of the vineyard, the banyuls winery, a model room explaining the winemaking process and finally the tasting room.
  • The “Food & Wine Pairing” tour is identical but ends with a Banyuls and chocolate or ice cream pairing.

You will discover between 3 and 6 wines, belonging to the appellations Collioure, Banyuls and Banyuls Grand Cru. Here you can taste a variety of wines from Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Carignan.

All activities are available in French, English and possibly Spanish and German (on request).
