The guided tour starts with cellar visit and five winetasting. Then the participants walk up the historic Várhegy vineyard with a picnic basket.
The basket contains: Smoked trout, Mangalica sausage, Homemade spiced apricot jam, Homemade bread, Fresh fruit, 1 bottle of Giorgio frizzante wine
This picnic is the best – and most delicious way – to discover a vineyard, the whole breath-taking landscape which is under UNESCO World Heritage protection. Guests consume the delicacies of the picnic basket on the terrace of the little vineyard-cottage, accompanied by well chilled Patricius frizzante wine.

A very nice winery, friendly and knowledgeable; be sure to try the sparkling wine, Frzannte, and Katinka. The oak-aged Furmint 2018 is also excellent.

We visited the Patricius winery in Tokaj and were absolutely thrilled. Peter, the manager, provided us with impeccable service and a tour followed by a tasting that was, without exaggeration, among the best we have ever experienced. The explanations, the conversations, and the hospitality were outstanding: friendly, passionate, and incredibly enriching. We would have loved to stay longer at the winery and with the wines, and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much, Peter, for this unforgettable experience!

Booking by phone is recommended, However we tried to call few times before and nobody picked up. Still was possible to stop by and buy some wine. Beautiful place
