PATRICIUS BORHAZ

We visited the Patricius winery in Tokaj and were absolutely thrilled. Peter, the manager, provided us with impeccable service and a tour followed by a tasting that was, without exaggeration, among the best we have ever experienced. The explanations, the conversations, and the hospitality were outstanding: friendly, passionate, and incredibly enriching. We would have loved to stay longer at the winery and with the wines, and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much, Peter, for this unforgettable experience!

The wine is tasty and the host is friendly.

A modern winery built in traditional style, with a lovely view of the vineyard and the surrounding hills. Outstanding wines. Cheers

Booking by phone is recommended, However we tried to call few times before and nobody picked up. Still was possible to stop by and buy some wine. Beautiful place

A very nice winery, friendly and knowledgeable; be sure to try the sparkling wine, Frzannte, and Katinka. The oak-aged Furmint 2018 is also excellent.

Patricius is among the best Hungarian wineries. Its wines are also available in Italy at vinoungherese.it. The Patricius winery is the result of the Kékessy family's deep connection to the Tokaj region. Dezső Kékessy manages the winery together with his daughter Katinka, benefiting from the experience of managing director Péter Molnár. The family's first traces of winemaking in the region date back to the 18th century. Today, the estate encompasses 85 hectares and boasts eight historic Premier Cru vineyards. The winery in Bodrogkisfalud is built around an elegant farmhouse, which houses the wine shop and tasting room. The grapes are processed in completely underground cellars using gravity flow. This approach reflects the harmonious interplay of tradition and modernity in a landscape like Tokaj, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Thanks a lot for coming quickly after your meal to receive us. Was really interesting meeting and degustation. For toursit, it's better to phone and book few days before.

Amazing WINERY. With the best Tokaj wine, that wons a lot of wine competitions. They are starting to doing food events, and if you combine the food with this amazing Tokaj wine, there is no better thing. Just turn left from the main street and go little bit up under the hill. You will find your second home. Really recommend to try this taste.
