After the 5-wine tasting, you also have the opportunity to taste the Essence.

Essence is the world’s most concentrated extract derived from ripest grapes (aszú berries), it is the ’liquid gold’ that drips incredibly slowly from a pile of aszú grapes raisined by botrytis and climatic conditions. It is characterized by concentrated minerality.

We served it on a cristal spoon. (~ 6 ml)

Amazing WINERY. With the best Tokaj wine, that wons a lot of wine competitions. They are starting to doing food events, and if you combine the food with this amazing Tokaj wine, there is no better thing. Just turn left from the main street and go little bit up under the hill. You will find your second home. Really recommend to try this taste.

We visited the Patricius winery in Tokaj and were absolutely thrilled. Peter, the manager, provided us with impeccable service and a tour followed by a tasting that was, without exaggeration, among the best we have ever experienced. The explanations, the conversations, and the hospitality were outstanding: friendly, passionate, and incredibly enriching. We would have loved to stay longer at the winery and with the wines, and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much, Peter, for this unforgettable experience!

Booking by phone is recommended, However we tried to call few times before and nobody picked up. Still was possible to stop by and buy some wine. Beautiful place

A very nice winery, friendly and knowledgeable; be sure to try the sparkling wine, Frzannte, and Katinka. The oak-aged Furmint 2018 is also excellent.
