A very nice, memorable and informative testing of quite a few interesting wines resulted in a lot of high quality wines to bring back home to Sweden.

We came to taste without an appointment 30' before closing, Christine welcomed us warmly and we tasted many delicious wines, it is a very beautiful estate which also comes to trade fairs in Belgium (Liège and Eupen). A big thank you for the explanations and don’t hesitate to come in for an excellent tasting 🤩👍🍷

A Wonderful Experience at Clos Bagatelle

We booked both a wine tasting and a historical tour of the estate, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our journey through southern France.Christine Deleuze welcomed us warmly upon arrival before handing us over to her daughter, Marie, who guided us through the estate. Both were incredibly charming, knowledgeable, and passionate about their family heritage.Together with my son, I enjoyed an engaging and entertaining tour of the winery. Coming from the brewing industry myself, I was fascinated by the many similarities between the worlds of beer and wine. Marie shared countless stories about the estate, its traditions, and the family's long history. It was especially inspiring to learn how Clos Bagatelle has been passed down from mother to daughter for generations, preserving not only the business but also its unique spirit and values. The family story is as impressive as the wines themselves. You can feel that this is much more than a winery. It is a living heritage built over centuries and shaped by people who genuinely care for their land and their craft. The tasting at the end was exceptional. We had the opportunity to explore the full range of wines, and every single one was outstanding. In fact, I ended up investing a small fortune in bottles to take home. I simply couldn't resist. As a final gesture of hospitality, we were allowed to stay overnight on the estate with our T5 camper. Waking up the next morning surrounded by the vineyards was a truly memorable experience.Thank you, Christine, Marie, and the entire Clos Bagatelle team for your warm welcome, generosity, and unforgettable hospitality. We will certainly return, and until then we will continue enjoying and buying your wonderful wines.Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic wine, genuine hospitality, and a fascinating family story.

Dear Mr Schneider, Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and generous review. Reading your words truly means a lot to all of us. It was a real pleasure to welcome you and your son to Clos Bagatelle. We are delighted that you enjoyed both the historical tour and the wine tasting, and that our family story and the estate's heritage resonated with you. Knowing that someone from the brewing industry found so many interesting connections with the world of wine made the experience even more special for us. Your kind words about our hospitality, our passion, and our wines are the greatest reward we could hope for. We are especially happy that you enjoyed your evening on the estate and the peaceful morning among the vineyards—it's a unique experience that we love sharing with our guests. Thank you again for your trust and for taking a little piece of Clos Bagatelle home with you. We hope every bottle brings back wonderful memories of your visit until we have the pleasure of welcoming you back. Warm regards, Christine, Marie & the Clos Bagatelle Team

What a pleasure to find a bottle from the 2005 vintage… in a carafe, well aerated, always on top.

Pure happiness! A warm welcome, smiles and kindness...And, in the glass, really the bomb. Excellent wines, full of charm with a great quality-price ratio. I can only recommend it both for the quality of the wine and for the good spirit that accompanies it!
