Notre histoire
Fondé en 1810, le domaine Morgado do Quintão est resté dans notre famille depuis lors. Pendant plus de 200 ans, il a su traverser les bouleversements politiques et la transformation radicale de l'Algarve durant le boom touristique des années 1980 et 1990, périodes qui ont vu de nombreux vignobles céder la place à l'urbanisation.
En 2017, la gestion du site nous a été transmise par notre mère, Teresa Pereira Caldas de Vasconcellos (1941-2017) , artiste contemporaine expérimentale et professeure. Sa curiosité et sa pratique créative ont nourri un lien profond avec ce lieu, nous inspirant à protéger son paysage et ses traditions tout en embrassant une innovation réfléchie.
Sur quatre générations, chaque membre de la famille a apporté sa pierre à l'édifice, cultivant les vieilles vignes, restaurant les murets en pierres sèches et préservant les cépages locaux, afin que la génération suivante puisse perpétuer cet héritage vivant. Aujourd'hui, nous poursuivons ce travail avec des vins naturels et des expériences œnotouristiques authentiques qui célèbrent le patrimoine culturel de l'Algarve, la résilience de notre terroir et l'esprit indéfectible de notre maison familiale.

Écrire un avisWe visited the winery for a tour and wine tasting. It was a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting, accompanied by truly delicious wines and perfectly paired snacks. The very knowledgeable tour was conducted in English, but it was an interesting and engaging presentation, especially since the winery practices organic farming, which, as we learned, requires some specific cultivation methods.

Our outing at Farmer's Table was wonderful. The setting is so charming. Dining under the olive tree and the wonderful food and wine pairings were lovely. The experience was great. I have already recommended it to friends! We did not use the hotel.

We joined the Farmer’s Table and it was lovely. Setting under a 2000 yr old olive tree among the vineyards was beautiful. Food was very good and the wine was delicious. We ended up buying many bottles of their wine. I would highly recommend this

We did the wine tasting and had a great time! The place is absolutely beautiful and Pascal, our host for the tasting, was fun and explained the wines so well. We stayed in the grounds after the tasting to soak in the beauty of the place. We had such a pleasant time. I would definitely recommend
