Casa Alle Vacche is located on a hill in central Tuscany, a convenient distance from San Gimignano. Breathtaking Tuscan scenery surrounds this winery, in an area particularly suited to growing grapes and olives. The nature of the soil and ideal exposure produce high-quality grapes, which, expertly vinified, yield excellent wines.
The family dedicates itself to winemaking with great passion and diligence, from growing the grapes to harvesting and finally to the winemaking process. Silvano purchased the winery in the 1950s along with a vineyard. Later, in 1986, Silvano's sons Fernando and Lorenzo brought a breath of fresh air to the Ciappi family business. Literally, Casa Alle Vacche means "House of the Cows." The name is not accidental, but has a strong historical connection. In the 19th century, the oldest building in the winery was a cowshed. This is evident in the arched ceilings with striking architectural masonry on the ground floor. Casa Alle Vacche evokes the simplicity, natural aspects, serenity, and hard work of the Ciappi family.
Casa Alle Vacche produces some excellent wines, such as Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chianti Colli Senesi, and the Toscana IGT red and white. In some areas, they grow high-quality wines from Sangiovese, Merlot, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo, Colorino, Chardonnay, and Viognier. Scrivere una recensioneUna cantina molto bella, con molti ottimi vini. Abbiamo avuto un doppio a Certaldo da questa azienda vinicola, che ci ha fatto venire voglia di visitare. Abbiamo potuto partecipare ad una degustazione di vini. Il proprietario ha parlato con grande orgoglio dei vini prodotti qui. Consiglio vivamente di visitare questa cantina!

Ho assaggiato le bollicine di questa azienda vinicola durante il pranzo a Certaldo, poi ho deciso di passare per poter acquistare dei vini. Una volta arrivati lì "senza preavviso" siamo stati accolti molto cordialmente e l'ospite ha indicato che una degustazione sarebbe iniziata tra 10 minuti, abbiamo potuto partecipare all'ultimo minuto e sicuramente lo abbiamo fatto. Partecipato a una divertente degustazione di vini di 1 ora di una selezione di 5 vini. Acquistato un numero, esperienza molto bella e consigliata!

Ottimo ristorante, cucina dai vecchi sapori, la cucina toscana. Come essere stati in famiglia anche se la prima volta. Complimenti per servizio e cibo ottimo. Spettacolare il panorama dalla grande vetrata. Lo consiglio vivamente.
