The company was founded in 1960 when grandfather Francesco (Cavaliere del Lavoro - a title awarded to him by the president of the republic, which is why I Vini Del Cavaliere) bought several hectares of land in Paestum (about 40 ha)... The passion for wine began even before grandfather Francesco settled in Paestum, namely in Pompeii. So already in the post-war years (1950) the first winemaking.... The tradition then continued until 1998. Then in May 1999 grandfather Francesco passed away and from there the official establishment of the winery by will of his grandson Giovanni. In 2000 the first bottles up to today with a production of about 25,000 bottles.
In 2011, the first Aglianico, Primitivo and Fiano vines were planted near the company and in 2022 a new Primitivo vineyard next to the company in the municipality of Capaccio Paestum...The winery today consists of a 300m2 winemaking area, tasting room, sales point and large garden for tastings and events.
