Villa Le Prata is a small artisanal winery in the heart of Montalcino, founded by Professor Massimo Losappio, who planted the first vineyard in 1987. The winery is now in its third generation.

Here, the production philosophy is oriented towards biodiversity, organic viticulture, and respect for the terroir, enhanced by the parceling out of the vineyards and the use of indigenous yeasts.

The wines strive for elegance and freshness, reflecting the altitude, the diverse soils, and the minimalist approach that characterizes every phase of the work in the vineyard and cellar.

I've been to the Tuscany region twice, and this was definitely the best hotel we've ever stayed in. Everything was beautiful, and the service was excellent. The only downside was having to leave. We will definitely return!

Consiglio vivamente questo posto se volete soggiornare in Val D’Orcia (vicino a Montalcino)! Posto bellissimo con piscina a sfioro e un panorama sulle loro vigne mozzafiato. Abbiamo anche fatto una degustazione di tre dei loro vini, buonissimi! Personale molto gentile e professionale, camera bellissima e molto pulita!

This place is absolutely magical. The staff is lovely - friendly, knowledgeable, good humored, and so invested in everyone having a phenomenal experience (if you don’t it’s your own fault). My only regret is that we didn’t spend more time there. We hope to be back someday - I’ve never been so happy curled up on a couch with a book and a bottle of wine, house kitty purring next to me. Also the breakfast is amazing! Who am I kidding, everything is amazing, just go here.

Wonderful villa in Tuscany, the view, the ambience, the atmosphere is impeccable. The welcome will make you feel just like home, the receptionist helped me with all of my questions which I think I asked alot and she answer every single one of them. It is very peaceful and very professional yet still feel like home, we definitely come back💚🤎

The grounds were meticulously maintained and added so much charm to our experience. I also want to highlight the incredible hospitality of your team. A beautiful villa with only 8 guest rooms and a stunning garden. The pool offers breathtaking sunsets over the Tuscan hills. The owner, her family, and the staff are warm and welcoming, and the wine tasting was more detailed than expected. And of course, the wines are superb!
