Tenuta Adamo Winery

Tenuta Adamo was established in 2020 from a project focused on investing in the centuries-old tradition of viticulture and the skilled young people that every day with passion and enthusiasm dedicate themselves to the creative process behind all our products. The property is located in Pieve Santo Stefano, overlooks the Freddana valley and is characterized by strong temperature variations that give the wine and oil a characteristic terroir of this company. It’s spread over 13 hectares of which 6 are dedicated to cultivation of the vine and 2 to that of the olive tree, the remaining in coppice woods at about 200m above sea level in Lucca.

Tradition and Experience

One of the cornerstones of the project is the enhancement of the territory, trying to innovate production while respecting local traditions, for this reason we have focused our work on the cultivation of native vines typical of this area such as Canaiolo, Colorino, Moscato d’Amburgo, Trebbiano and Malvasia which represent a unique heritage for our country.
In addition to the production of wine, the company is also dedicated to that of oil. In our olive grove there are the typical varieties of the area, such as Frantoiani, Moraioli, Leccini, and Baulini.
The planting of our olive grove dates back to 1700, when the Bourbons decided to build it by planting the varieties they thought were most suitable for the production of an excellent extra virgin olive oil.

Amazing local winery with great food! Meatballs and focaccia loaf always a favourite!! Delicious. This would have been a five star HOWEVER you have removed the Parmesan Truffle Fries, which were one of the best items on the menu!! 😱😫🥲 Please, please put them back on the menu!!! …Love your friendly neighborhood locals 🩷

Went to the Adamo Winery for their Uncorked Experience as a gift from my parents to my partner and myself for Christmas. I had never been to anything like this and I was really excited and all the hype I had built up in my head was actually an understatement to what I was actually served. My partner and I were greeted as soon as we came in and were given a glass of wine before being taken to our private igloo for dinner. It was warm already and private just for the two of us. They even provided a bluetooth speaker for us to play our own music. They took us through the three wines we were having that evening and it wasn't much longer before the began coming out with the plates! It was so much food but all of it was so good. I believe in total I counted about 24 small plates and all of them were absolutely delicious. All of the staff were lovely and super attentive. I cannot recommend the Uncorked Experience enough, totally worth value for money. I'll definitely be coming back to try their regular menu as well.
