Manvi - A Boutique Winery in Montepulciano

Azienda Agricola Manvi is a charming boutique winery nestled in the picturesque hills of Montepulciano, Tuscany. Established in 2015, this winery blends rich tradition with modern techniques to create wines that truly reflect the essence of the region. Their classic winemaking style imparts unique aromas and fruity flavors to each bottle. The estate also features a five-bedroom villa, offering stunning views and a refreshing swimming pool for guests to enjoy.

Visitors are always welcome to experience the beauty of Tuscany and its rich wine heritage.

Organic Certified Wines

The vineyards at Manvi are situated in prime locations within Montepulciano, where Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malvasia grapes thrive. Each year, they produce approximately 7,500 bottles of wine, including Vino Rosso, Vino Nobile, and Vin Santo. Since 2003, all wines have been certified organic, adhering to sustainable farming practices without the use of chemicals. Minimal machinery is employed, with most tasks performed manually, ensuring the health of the vines and the surrounding environment.

Underground Winery

The winery is conveniently located next to the vineyards and features eight temperature-controlled steel containers for fermentation. French oak barrels are used for aging the wines, and the underground setting helps to lower energy costs. Bottling and labeling are also carried out on-site, ensuring quality control. Manvi’s organic wines are cherished by customers and authentically represent the terroir of Tuscany.

The visit to Manvi Winery was our best experience among all the visits in the region, the passion and care of Puru and his lovely wife are reflected in the quality of the excellent wines. A must visit for wine lovers!!!

Immersed in a postcard landscape, we were welcomed, even without a reservation, with exquisite courtesy and patience by the owners of the winery Puru and Sudha Manvi. We tasted excellent wines accompanied by an excellent introduction. Returning home, the wine maintained the excellent impression of the first tasting. The regret remains of not having had time to visit the vineyard.

Stayed for three nights at the B&B this past Oct, 2024. Way too short! Sudha the owner was very gracious. We had a perfect view from our room. Excellent accommodations. Large room, very comfortable bed, HUGE bathroom. And... only 12-15 minutes by car to Montepulciano. Breakfast service was spot on.

Thank you Puru for a wonderful informative tour and for converting me to red wine! We had a such a lovely time sitting in the sun overlooking the vineyards sampling your wines that are obviously made with such passion. You are a great lesson in following your dreams. We look forward to sharing your wine with our family.

Wine tasting was fabulous! The view over the vineyard up the hill to Montepulciano is incredible as well. Can’t imagine how lovely it would be to stay in the B&B. Puru gave us a lovely overview of each wine and a lot of other info about her and her husband’s journey into the wine world. She was very patient with our little one as well ☺️ Quality of wines was fantastic, wish it was earlier in our trip so we could’ve taken a few bottles to enjoy along the way. Cheers and thanks again!

I stayed in this splendid farmhouse with my boyfriend for one night and we had a great time. Upon arrival we were greeted by the two owners: two charming and very kind people who took care of us regarding the check-in time, also allowing us to use the pool before the scheduled time. The owner described all the proposed activities (yoga, tasting, etc.) and we opted for a tasting of 5 wines (€ 25). At the tasting, a detailed explanation of the various products tasted was also offered, offered by the owner himself, who was able to answer all our questions with extreme kindness. The farmhouse is surrounded by greenery, on the hills, in absolute peace and from here you can also see the town of Montepulciano. There is also a swimming pool and it is also possible to take guided tours of the vineyards of the same estate. Finally, the room was very simple but had everything you need. We appreciated the very spacious shower, the air conditioning and the coffee maker in the room. The breakfast is very rich, with a wide range of choices. Moreover, having breakfast overlooking the Tuscan countryside is priceless. We were truly fascinated by this place, but also by the philosophy of life adopted by the two owners. We will definitely return, this place has remained in our hearts!
