We really enjoyed being in this winery! Flavia is a great guide. They really care about the environment and the quality of their wines and you can see it all around the winery. The tasting was great too. I cannot recommend enough!

The quality of the wines is very high, you can feel a lot of experience in winemaking. The tasting was very interesting. Three types of wine and a platter to accompany and pair the wines. The customer service was attentive and competent. Even in a hot and sunny summer, we visited the vineyards, the cellar and the barrel cellar. The company is relatively young, but values traditions. We were impressed by the winery's decision to focus on a black grape variety such as Cabernet Franc. A visit is recommended

It was a great decision to visit this wonderful winery! Flavia was our guide, and she provided a fascinating and informative tour. The place is truly beautiful. We also had a tasting session with snacks, and my friends immediately placed an order for wine to be delivered to the USA. Next time I'm in Castelli Romani, I will definitely visit again and bring my friends along!

I take this opportunity to compliment the company on the quality of their wines. I was enchanted by the Abelos, a white wine of 14° that is immediately fresh and clean but offers a truly intense and long-lasting experience. An excellent choice also the 496 that, immediately was presented to me as a wine "without commitment" but, which also was able to express a beautiful minerality and pleasantness in the finish. A small family-run winery of the Castelli Romani with a long tradition (winemakers since 1816), strictly organic, which produces two typical local wines, Frascati (496) and Frascati Superiore (Abelos), with truly excellent results. The top-quality Frascati has an important structure and alcohol content for a white wine, but is enjoyed with pleasure thanks to the floral aromas typical of Malvasia and the rich minerality that gives it flavor and freshness. Try pairing it with Cacio e Pepe. Unfortunately we were unable to try the Onde Rosé because it was sold out. The production is small and this winery sells the entire production every year. But luckily there are still a few bottles of Juno left, a red wine based on pure Cabernet Franc. A rarity because this grape is not typical of the area, but even in this case the product is of high quality. Finally, they also let us taste the Diciassette undici, their interpretation of the Cannellino, the sweet wine of the castles, which we combine with the typical Tarallini wines, also produced in the area. A beautiful reality in a particular territory, a basin that was once Lake Regillo, scene of a battle between Rome and the Latins and, before that, the crater of a prehistoric volcano. The date of the battle, 496 BC, inspired the name of one of the wines produced by this winery. Quality wines with an excellent value for money.

We did a tour & tasting and it was really good. Beautiful vineyard, great people and good wines. We also stayed in the tiny house for 2 nights and we really loved that as well. Beautiful place to spend the night right inbetween the grapevines. We would definitely recommend.

It was a wonderful discovery!!! The tasting was exciting and very pleasant. The exceptional wine in all its variations. A big compliment for "Iuno", a Cabernet Franc that amazed us and that we bought directly from the company together with "Abelos". We will definitely come back

Azienda Biologica De Sanctis was amazing!! The vineyard is in a beautiful setting. We had a different tour cancel the morning-of due to a positive Covid test, so we called around to look for other available tours. They were very accommodating of our last minute request!! The tour was nice and very informative. The whole experience felt very personal, and our guide answered all of our many questions about the wine-making process. We got to try three different delicious wines that were paired with meats and cheeses. It was inspiring to hear about Francesco’s passion for his work. Overall, one of my favorite experiences from our visit to Rome. I cannot recommend enough!!!

Chiara was very friendly and showed us around the vineyard. It’s a family operated business and the wine has a really good quality and is organic. We really recommend a tasting of the Frascati and the Rosè. We were lucky to see the harvesting too.

It is truly a fantastic place for the thousand-year history that surrounds the winery but even more for a production approach that touches man first and rests on him, on his passions and on his tenacious, daily and innovative commitment, where there is simplicity in the management but nothing is left to improvisation also thanks to the traditional laws of an ancient profession. The wine is extraordinary first of all for its olfactory characteristics that are all confirmed upon contact with the palate. I literally fell in love with "Amacos". Mr. Luigi and Mr. Daniela, who manage the company, are two extraordinary people and, thanks to their example, it is possible to understand how the entrepreneurial system of our territory can restart.
