Bodegas Lecea is a family-owned winery in the heart of Rioja, where four generations of passionate winegrowers have dedicated themselves to cultivating vines and producing exceptional wines. Founded by Don Rufino Lecea Blanco in the 1980s, the winery began bottling its own wines, setting the stage for a legacy of quality and craftsmanship.

Today, under the guidance of his son, Luis Alberto Lecea, Bodegas Lecea continues to thrive. The winery skillfully blends traditional techniques with modern innovations, resulting in a diverse range of distinguished wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Rioja region.

Beautiful family-run bodegas. Great tour by Clara: competent, friendly and very accommodating. We also drove into the fields in the Series 3 Land Rover. Great wine at a very reasonable price! An absolute highlight! Many thanks to the whole team for the great experience!

Attention, a favorite 💙 Superb estate in the heart of Rioja, where Lidia (5th generation) introduces us to this family production. You have to know how to get lost to be able to find them, but without a doubt, a beautiful encounter. Thank you

A spectacular experience! From the very first moment, the attention was excellent. We took a bike tour through the entire vineyard, allowing us to enjoy the scenery and experience the winemaking process up close. Our guide, Isabel, was incredible; she explained everything with great detail and passion, making every moment interesting and enjoyable. The visit to the winery was very authentic, with a fascinating history and, of course, spectacular wines. Highly recommended for wine lovers and those looking for a slightly different experience in La Rioja.

Family winery with many years of experience. The tasting surprised us both with the wines and with the history behind them, everything perfectly explained by the guide. The winery is very pretty, 100% recommended, now we will have to return for the wine party where you can see the whole process of crushing the grapes.

Family winery located in the upper district of San Asensio. Apart from the visit and tasting, there are several types of experiences with which to complement a magnificent day related to the world of wine 🍷. In our case, we chose a walk through the vineyards, with an explanation of the vines, pruning, etc... and above all, a lunch based on sausages and a finger-licking homemade potato omelette in a relaxed atmosphere next to the vineyards themselves, all by the hand of Luis Alberto. Previously (the order may vary if you choose an experience), we made a magnificent visit to 5 of the winery's caves with a great explanation from Clara during which 2 wines (red) were tasted🍷. The third wine (white) in a very cool room that also serves as a shop. Enjoy 🤪!! PS The parking issue is a bit complicated. In the end, it's about not parking in front of any door and where it doesn't bother or impede the passage of other vehicles 😉

Absolutely recommended visit. Family winery, different from the usual. In caves 14 meters deep. The tasting consists of 3 "broths", 2 reds during the visit and a white wine to finish, with something to nibble on. You can also try other varieties at the end before buying (it is not mandatory). They make an old-fashioned variant that is worth getting to know. The visit is very pleasant. You must reserve. And if you have any intolerance, let us know because they take it into account and it is much appreciated.

Excellent visit! Javier is a great guide who tells you interesting facts about the history of the place while you ride around the vineyards in a 4x4. The visit continues with a tour of the cellars with several tastings. A highly recommended experience for anyone who wants to fully understand the dynamics of a traditional family winery.
