Bodegas Luis Alegre is located in Laguardia, one of the most exclusive wine-producing regions in Spain. The winery came into existence in 1968 from an idea of a passionate wine family and has had the philosophy to achieve the highest quality in winemaking ever since. Bodegas Luis Alegre Winery has a singular objective to make wines with personality. In order to do so, they combine evolution and tradition, optimizing and reinventing what winemaking traditions already exist while always respecting the tradition and heritage of their wines. This vision has made them pioneers in the use of the grape sorting tables in the production facility.

The Winery Owns 52 Hectares of Vineyards Thoughout Rioja
The winery owns 52 hectares of vineyards throughout the region of Rioja, world renowned for their excellent wines and grape cultivation. The characteristics of each vineyard are different and allow for the production of very diverse wines with the highest of quality. Bodegas Luis Alegre Winery creates wines with limited production numbers through a very demanding selection processes always oriented to the quality of the wine. In the vineyards, they grow varieties of grapes such as Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha, Mazuelo, Viura, and Malvasia. The grapes are hand-harvested and sent to the winery for processing. They produce red, white, and rosé wine, but predominately red Rioja wines. Each wine is special and is created to ensure the best quality wines leave the bottle.
