At Viníric, our journey began from scratch — with simplicity, humility, and perhaps a touch of naivety. What we never lacked, however, was clarity of purpose. From the very beginning, we were driven by a deep conviction: to make wine from the roots, honoring the land, preserving its essence, and never losing the authenticity of true craftsmanship.

We are children of Calonge, a town steeped in a proud winemaking tradition. This heritage is part of who we are, shaping our philosophy and guiding our hands as we continue to work the land, just as our elders did. For us, wine is not only a passion but a way to earn a living with dignity — one vine, one harvest, one bottle at a time.

Calonge provides the perfect backdrop for the Viníric project. Its strong agricultural heritage and serene natural landscape form the heart of our identity. Surrounded by the Gavarres Massif, our vineyards benefit from a natural shield that softens the intense heat of Mediterranean summers and tempers the powerful Tramuntana winds.

We were so lucky to experience this wine yard. We learned so much about the process of winemaking. The tour guide was so nice and knowledgeable. Fantastic tasting of beautiful wine yard. Bought 3 bottles of great wine to go ☺️ recommended!

My personal favourite wine of Empordà, Celler Viniric. Absolutely delicious, with a wonderful selection of different wines. Beautiful logo & great design. The wine tasting is a excepcional experience, the gentleman that runs the tasting is amazing. He is very knowledgeable & passionate.

We enjoyed a fantastic tasting at Celler Viníric, led by Edu, who shared his passion for this world and a positive energy throughout the experience. If you're in the Calonge area (central Costa Brava), I recommend booking and savoring the variety of wines they offer, not to mention their olive oil, made from centuries-old olive trees. We went to a wine tasting this weekend with a German friend. We had a great time; we really enjoyed the explanation given by our guide, Eduard, I think, and we also tasted seven wines and olive oil with bread. Everything was excellent and close to our home in Calonge. Highly recommended.
