The history of Château de Pierreclos dates back to 1989 when the Pidault family bought the estate and transformed it into a winery. The Château was built between 887 and 926 and is now a private historic monument. It is located in southern Burgundy and surrounded by vineyards. The vineyard of Château de Pierreclos is made of eight hectares of vines located on high quality parcels. Grape varietals include Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. After alcoholic fermentation, the white wines are matured on fine lees for a fuller body and richer aromas. Then, the wines are bottled without filtration.
